Who we are

The Potteries Mission Methodist Circuit is a group of Methodist churches serving communities across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area. Together, we form a Christian family rooted in worship, prayer, learning and service.

Our churches are diverse in style and size, but we are united by a shared commitment to follow Jesus Christ and to support one another in mission.

Our calling

We seek to love God and love our neighbours.

This means creating welcoming spaces for worship, offering opportunities to explore and grow in faith, and responding with care and compassion to the needs of our local communities. We believe faith is not just something we hold, but something we live out in everyday life.

What we do

Across the Circuit, our churches offer a wide range of activities, including:

• Regular worship services in different styles
• Opportunities for prayer, study and learning
• Pastoral care and support
• Community groups and outreach projects
• Service that seeks justice, kindness and hope

Each church reflects its local community, while being supported and connected through the wider Circuit.

Working together

As a Circuit, we share resources, encourage one another, and work collaboratively so that no church stands alone. We also partner with other Christian churches and organisations across the city, recognising that we are stronger when we serve together.

A Methodist tradition

We are part of the Methodist Church in Britain, a Christian tradition with a long history of worship, social action and care for communities. Methodism emphasises God’s grace, practical faith, and the importance of living out love in action.
